TwentyFive

I know I can't take one more step towards you
Cause all that's waiting is regret
And don't you know I'm not your ghost, anymore
You lost the love I loved the most
I learned to live half alive
And now you want me one more time
And who do you think you are
Running 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me
Who do you think you are
I hear you're asking all around
If I am anywhere to be found
But I have grown too strong
To ever fall back in your arms
And learn to live half alive
And now you want me one more time
And who do you think you are
Running 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me
Who do you think you are
Dear, it took so long just to feel alright
Remember how to put back the light in my eyes
I wish I had missed the first time that we kissed
Cause you broke all your promises
And now you're back
You don't get to get me back
And who do you think you are
Running 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
So don't come back for me
Don't come back at all
And who do you think you are
Running 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart
You're gonna catch a cold
From the ice inside your soul
Don't come back for me
Don't come back at all
Who do you think you are?
Who do you think you are?
Who do you think you are?

----------

no one has the right to run around leaving scars
i've had my fair share of running around leaving scars & be left with scars
i did learn how to live life half alive
i didn't mean to tear love apart
maybe, those who left me with these unremovable scars didn't mean to tear love apart, either
but we are all gonna catch a cold
cos when we leave scars, we have such icy cold heart.

TwentyThree

Day Three in Oman - highlight: Dolphin watching!!

Was very excited to watch some dolphines that morning!
The Marina people were worried & kept reminding us - there were 4 Europeans on the boat with me - that the weather has been a bit nasty, the sea has been a bit choppy and that there was a possibility of NOT seeing any dolphin.
And if there weren't any doplhins, the Captain would take us island hopping

I thought one of these would be the boat that would take us out to the sea, but ... no! ;p

So, out to the sea we went...
I had my fingers crossed the whole time & kept praying that I would see dolphins (yes, plural!)

The Captain told us that 3 days earlier, he had brought other groups of tourists and they didn't have any luck with the dolphins!

We went quite far out and I was SO SO SO thrilled when I saw the first batch of 'em!!!

I wasn't quick enough to click on the Leica; they'd jumped right straight into the water!!!

I promise you, there were a gazillion of them... It was just me, not wanting to see it thru the Leica screen that every time I snap a photo, they were gone!

There must've been a lot of fishes around that area that the dolphins and those birds were fighting each other for 'em!

With Captain Rashid! :)

I didn't feel like leaving the dolphins but I don't think they would want me to stay
(sounds much like my dilemma now - too good to leave, too bad to stay *sigh*)

TwentyTwo

Went to Muttrah Souq after the Fish Market.

Most of the traders in the souq, specifically, and Oman, generally, are Indians.
Why?

Enough tasbih, you think?

Don't know why but I simply love the khanjars - that's the dagger to you!
Should've bought one for personal consumption.
I bet I don't need a license for that compared to carrying a gun!

Like shopping at Muttrah Souq wasn't enough, I went to check out the Heritage Village within the Shangri-la compound

There were retail stores here too but the prices... whoa! Much more expensive than those at the souq!

That night, dinner was in the hotel - couscous & errmmm... ermmm.. no, don't remmeber!
